I just bought a bear compass kodiak II today at a garage sale, I did some research and found its possible rare. It has the walnut riser which i guess was only made for a few months in 1954, before it was changed to maple. But thats about all i have found, if anyone has any info about it, its worth, of if it actually is rare or not, it would be greatly appreciated.

One of the harder ones to find, especially with the walnut riser. I would not consider shooting that bow. My father had one back in the mid 70's that came apart on him. Later found out that the type of failure he experienced was common to that particular model.

Ditto! And why that bow was discontinued. Many collectors do advise against shooting the bow.

Depending on condition, bow should be worth something to a collector.
