Bear crossbow limb failures?

Hi-I’m new to crossbows this year. Has anyone else experienced limb failure with brand new Bear crossbows? Bear gave me an Apocalypse LS last week as a replacement for a Fortus, which I thought was a great deal. I had a Fortus limb failure after only 30-40 shots and while hunting with it the 2nd day. Well, the Apocalypse was only shot 20-30 times one day to site in and I had a limb failure on the first day I hunted with it, Saturday. Just sitting in the stand with it cocked and it made that dreaded pinging sound. Once, then a total a five times. Will be returning this back to Bear Pro Shop. Not wild about getting another Bear crossbow, but I’ll be leaving this one cocked for longer periods of time before taking it hunting the first time. While Bear Pro Shop Customer Service has been great so far, I’m a little concerned about the quality of their products. Anyone else had the same problem? Thanks in advance for your advice.

I bought a barnett stalker 405 crossbow from academy last year 2 days before hunting season and first time i pulled the trigger, the strings snapped, next day i took it back and they exchanged it for a bear banish 420 crossbow and it did fine all last season. Fast forward to second day of bow season this year i pulled it back put my bolt in and eased my way to my stand. 10 minutes go by and i heard what sounded to be a .22 go off and white smoke appeared from the ground where my crossbow was sitting. My limb completely snapped in half about 3 inches from my leg decided to stay in the blind just to see what i could have had an opportunity on and 3 hammer does come out 45 minutes left of shooting light. Think its safe to say its time for a compound for me

I bought the BearX Saga 420 crossbow early in 2024.
I shot it a total of 9 times and it was dead on.
I got it out the other day and was checking to see if it was still sighted in and shot it 2 times.
I cocked it and laid in on a towel that was on the hood of my truck.
I got a bolt and heard that dreaded PING sound.
It Pinged 2 more times.
I put a de-cocking bolt in it and shot it into the ground.
The left limb had 4 splits in it.
I was shooting the Pile Driver bolts that were over 400 grain and a 100 grain field tip.
I can get a new bow cheaper than what it will cost to fix this one.
I'm seriously thinking about putting a new string on my old HORTON EXPRESS that I bought in 1991.
I've killed many deer with that ole crossbow.
These crossbows now days have too much power for the limbs to hold up.
