A month or So ago I bought an encounter. I am in love with it. Just thinking about it makes me crack a smile. So now that I have put a few hundred or so arrows through it. I have figured out what I really want to do with her. I am making her a target bow. I know I know its not a 30+ ATA blah blah blah. I don't care. BUT its a hunting bow I DON'T CARE...... This is MY baby and this is what I am doing to her.
So this Week I have sent out the riser to get powder coated. I am not going to say what color but its going to be wicked bright. 2nd I contacted Jeremy at Archery Shack and ordered a set of BCY Trophy Strings and Cables. I have to say super nice guy very helpful . 3rd Since the limbs are fiberglass, They cant be powder coated. So I have sanded the hydro dip off to bare fiberglass. These will be painted with a paint that has an additive that will allow the paint to dry but remain flexible and not crack. This is the same stuff they paint car bumpers with. So that's all for now..... MORE PICS SOON!
