I may be late to the conversation but I’m watching Josh Bowmar on YouTube kill Cape buffalo with his mechanical broadhead. I listen to him on a podcast discussing the design and effort that went into building his broadhead and it sounds impressive.
I’m NOT a mechanical guy but what I’m seeing either a fluke or he has developed one on the best broadheads ever.
The design with the high end spring that allows the blades to flex when penetrating bone and expand into tissue seems to be legit.
What do you guys think? Is he on to something here? Watching him kill two Cape Buffalo and his wife kill a hippopotamus with a mechanical has me scratching my head.
