take it to the shop and have them back your poundage down to the min for your limbs. when you get used to that have them turn it up 5 pounds - get used to that and then have them max it out. it'll take a few months, but you'll learn how to draw and save yourself some painful issues with tendonitis.

push ups and pull ups. don't shoot too much til you can handle it because you'll get shoulder/neck problems from being overbowed. i'm not trying to be an ass, but why did you buy a bow that was too heavy? did the pro-shop push you into it? you can get some lighter limbs for it for around $100 probably and use them until you get used to it. also, go get a lesson. if someone shows you how to draw properly it may be easier. i'm really sorry to hear you got your new bow and its not just right for you. also, you don't have to hold the arm you hold your bow in straight out when starting your draw. you can have your bow arm bent and push with it while pulling with your release hand, this should make things easier. a deer won't sit around while you contort to get your bow drawn. better to lose the poundage and be stealthy than to get busted drawing. if you don't hunt that's not an issue, but you will hurt yourself contorting.

yeah, We got it because I can do 50 easy enough, and it was such a good deal,

Its at 55, and I thought I could do it, guess not. Not yet at least. I dont plan to go hunting anytime SOON, so its not too bad

You can also try a glove release like a winn c-10 or something similiar. They say using a glove style is like taking off 10 lbs.. I use one and it is awesome.
