I have a 9 and 12 year old who are interested in archery. I've already purchased two Bear Brave compound bows under the impression that they were able to adjust draw length. They are not, so they are pretty much useless and a waste of money. I don't want to spend that much on something until I know they are going to be serious about it. Should I start them on a recurve or compound? Any budget friendly options that anyone knows about?
My oldest grandson is turning 11 next month and he is getting my Diamond Infinite Edge Pro. That's a great bow as well, but a bit more pricey. Infinite Edge Pro
Diamond infinite is pretty much the one you will see most people suggest, and for good reason. It has huge adjustability in term of draw length (I think 15-31") and draw weight (10-70lbs).
my then 8 year old son started on a Bear Curzer Lite. It was the lightest bow we could get locally. He loves it. 10 now, probably 2 more years before we have to upgrade. Was good for us.
Mathews mission where great for my kids
Usually can pick up used for reasonable
