XOP took over the design of the Treestand Transport System (TTS) from Game Plan Gear when they went out of business. It is very well built and comfy, but also adds weight to the system. The one in the photo below is a much lighter, cheaper and less comfortable version I found on Amazon, as I don't tend to haul my Summit Viper SI long distances. For those hunts I take my "bow and go" setup of a Millennium M7 stand and rope mod Hawk Helium sticks.

 

I have the Elite SD, not made anymore. 17 lbs. I cart the stand into the area, then branch off with the factory straps. I have been looking for an improvement too, but Not at the expense of weight, and/or complication.

Those look pretty nice. Did they adapt easily to your viper? Where did you get them and what was the cost?

 

XOP TTS. It's not complicated, and the weight (if it weighs a pound) isn't even noticeable. I hunt public land, up and down hills for a mile plus walk to the area I hunt. Worth every penny. It takes the weight from your neck and shoulders and spreads it to you hips. Make a WORLD of a difference!!

TTS is 2lb 6oz. The Molle with the waist belt is 2lb 2oz.
Once adjusted properly the TTS is amazing. You will feel you are carrying less than half the weight of your stand but getting it adjusted right is a bit tricky.

I have summit goliath, tried summit deluxe straps which were better than stock but still not good. Later bought the TTS mentioned above which includes better straps but also waist belt which is much better. The waist belt makes a big difference plus keeps stand in place if you have to lean to one sire or bend over.

 

Ive tried a few and the Lone Wolf custum gear backpack/waist straps are the best ive used so far

 

TTS makes it very easy to pack around.

 

I have two of the game plan gear harnesses which I guess are XOP now. Best thing going imo..

I made a bracket, you might say, from a piece of stiff rubber with a fiber core for the harness to hook in.
Bradded a piece of velcro to that.
The pics explain themselves.

I've tried the belt, but that's not for me.

 

Same concept on the climber, but with the belt.

Can't quite tell from the pics...how quickly does this whole system detach. For example, if I want to leave the climber on the tree, but don't want the system torn up by a bear.

 

I really like the LWCG backpack straps...really do the job nicely on a Summit

 

I strap mine to a cabelas pack frame. I’ve hauled over 80# on that frame, the shoulders and belt are padded pretty well. Not only is it comfy, but then when I shoot something I have my pack frame right there to haul it out

 

I have a couple of the xop ones. Actually game plan gear ones before they went out of business. They work fantastic
