I’ve ran through a few bowsights and was just wondering what everyone else was using I settled on the hha tetra max with uv scope

You really can't go wrong these days. Im a fixed pin type guy for hunting, because they are lightweight and one less step for hunting. For target I wasn't a fan of uv scopes, because you couldn't run an aftermarket light setup, and I love my elvish. But all of it will get the job done. Just pick what you like and don't change. run it for awhile if there is something about your setup causing inconsistencies then change. Just like bows I can find something I love and hate in everything lol.

My dream sight doesn't exist. I want a four pin vertical stack; four pins on top of one another for 20-50 yards on a thin, almost invisible post with the ability to adjust each pin individually. Its probably impossible, but that would be mine. That said, I just got an EZV sight which is going to get mounted on my RX7 Carbon. We'll see how that work's out

When I bought my first bow I immediately spent the money and installed a black gold assault sight, no regerts…I just recently bought my first flagship bow(PSE Evo xf 33), and transferred it over as it’s given my zero reasons to change sights…
I added a little add on light that you can buy from black gold aswell…
Pins are plenty bright as they are but I like to shoot at night(SHOOT, NOT HUNT!) with lighted nocks…

I have a 4 pin black gold ascent verdict dovetail on my main bow with the bottom pin being .010 and the top three being .019. Really like it. Can use the slider with the bottom pin for longer yardages but I like not having to mess with any sight adjustments in close quarters.

back up bow has a 3 pin black gold whitetail. Got it before the dovetail came out. Does well for what I need I for.
I got black gold because I’m reading it seemed there pins were some of the brightest on the market and they have a lifetime warranty.

Exactly. I’ve been running this for 3 years and it was more their target sight but it is literally bomb proof. I can’t hurt it no matter where I take it or what I do with it. Considered trying other sights but this one has worked so good and is so durable I’ve decided to use it until it actually breaks. I have a feeling I won’t be buying another sight for a long time.

I’ve tried countless sights and went through single pin sliders to multi pin vertical and horizontal types with various options. I’m currently using the HHA single pin slider and it works great for the 3-D shooting experience, but for true hunting, I’m going back to a horizontal 5 pin.010 type and I won’t need the slider option. Naturally I won’t deny a slider option if the sight is super high end, but it’s just added weight that I will seldomly use because I’m not the type that goes to the competitive shoots that have several 100 yard distances. For me, the horizontal 5 pin is a sight that I can quickly draw and use the gaps between the pins to aim without the movement and time required for adjustment. As far as quality goes, I’m a fan of Axcel sights that offer certain things like metal sight tapes. I’ll probably choose the Axcel slider, but I’m waiting because I need to decide which new bow I’m getting due to the bridge lock design. I’m somewhat interested in the new UV slider, but I’ve heard about some negative attributes that hopefully might be resolved. Of course many people are concerned with the price when they’ve reached this point, but then again, many times it’s worth the extra expense when you’ve finally found one that you’ll enjoy and will last for many years.

I’m a huge fan of trophy ridge react sights. They flat out work. Such a time saver for 3d season. I sight in at 20 and 40 yards and I’m good to go out to 100. I’m surprised more people aren’t using them. I’ll admit their advertising is kinda false. You should plan on exceeding their minimum fps by 15 fps.
