Just a couple years newer than you are really looking for but the Bowtech Allegiance and Tribute come to mind. Same with Rytera's Alien x.

Martin's Jaguar and Cougar would fit most of the bill, not exactly low vibration though.
PSE Novas were very popular, just not fast or low vibration

 

Bowtech allegiance

 

I think it's REALLY close to this time period. Conflicting dates come up when I research the time of release but one of the best bows and probably one of the most underrated bows ever made was the diamond black ice. They were PHENOMENAL and fit every bill you are looking for.

 

If you’d include 2006, the Bowtech Tribute was one of my all-time faves. Add a string stop and it’s a really nice bow for that era.

I second the MQ1 - It was the first new Mathews i owned. Last year i wanted to find one in good condition and build how i had it 25 years ago. It was a blast to do, I ended up shooting a doe with it in late Decemeber. It is a great shooter, Slow as heck, but so smooth, quiet, and Dead in the hand.

That bow was early 2000s. Great bow. The Outback and Black Max 2 (330-340ibo) were good too

 

Hoyts line of bows in the early 2000’s such as the tec series and my favorites were the vectrix and Katera XL.

High Country bows were pretty dominant in the mid 90's. Oregon bows were also a pretty hot item. Mathews began popping on the scene in the late 90's as well. Before Mathews it was Mcpherson. PSE were also hot bows in the 90's. Personally the late 80's and early 90's run of Xi were my favorite bows of all time. 35-40 years later, Mathews started copying the cam system that Xi had in the late 80's and early 90's. The Xi Legend XRG is still my favorite bow ever.

 

We must've started around the same time. My first was a Whitetail II (1990?), followed by a Jennings Speedstar XLR. I bought a High Country Supreme and had a matched pair of Xi Legacies in grey and brown ASAT(?) camo somewhere in the mid 90s. A Browning Eclipse followed before the Switchback changed my world.

 

The fast bows kicked hard back then. I still have an old Hoyt Deviator with the Redline single cam. When I got it in '98, it was obviously slower than the Browning Ballistic Mirage I had been shooting, but it was so smooth, it was worth the drop in speed.

 

I really liked my 2002 Mathews Q2XL. Shot it for hunting, 3D, and indoor spots until 2014. Then switched to Elite.

 

I liked the Q2XL, as well and the Mathews LX.

 

I had a Hoyt Stryker Redline. Shot a lot of deer with that bow.

 

I still have an old AR34.😁

But me. I'd look at something from Oneida. Leverage actions are kind of cool.

 

To step a few years back a high country machined supreme with phantom cams be hard to beat

 

And keep in time 🤣

 

Another vote for the Bowtech Allegiance.

 

Golden Eagle Z-Fire was a great smooth shooting bow.

 

Hoyt ultratec has my vote

 

I still have a 1998 Jennings Buckmaster split limb.

 

I killed several deer with mine, it was my first bow. Loved it.

 

Switchback, Ultratec, Darton Viper, Hoyt Striker. Mathews MQ1,

 

I feel like a 10 year window is way to long to pick one. Especially in a time frame when there was a ton of technology hitting the scene. Definitely a cool post though! I’m enjoying the flashback memories! I can almost feel the sting in my grip ! 😂

 

Hard to believe I used to hunt without a release using my first couple of compounds! I don’t think modern archers realize just how far it has come.

 

Man I forgot about the archery research bows. Sure wish I could find one for nostalgia sake
