Shot at a deer today with a G5 Montec and saw a small blood trail......no deer at the end of the trail. This is my first ever shot at a deer with a bow, but I kinda expected a better blood trail. I hear that if your broadheads are really sharp, they tend to leave larger blood trails.

Any suggestions on sharpener? I would like it to be razor sharp.

The broadhead was sharp, shot placement was off. If you still want to sharpen the broadheads G5 has a great video or use some sandpaper with a leather strop

I had some of those heads a few years ago and I couldnt get them sharp. I use an accusharp on my reapers and spitfires. If you cant get em sharp, try the strikers or the grizz tricks if you wanna use a fixed head. if not, cant beat a reaper or a spitfire. good luck
