Soon as I'm done tuning up for this season on the no-name so-called "bargain" block clone I bought @ FleetFarm last summer and proceeded to shoot to smithereens in less time than it's taking to type this, it's definately going to be the Yellow Jacket!!

I'm hoping the old one will hold together for the final 50 shots or so before Sept. 15!!

I think we all have our preference but i like the Block. But the key is what someone else said, if you shoot consistently with broadheads you will tear it up real quick. My personal thoughts, opinion, is that you should use field points most of the time. I break out the broadheads I am gonna use and shoot them several times or more. If the impact where the field points do, then why continue to shoot broadheads. Hard on target and blades. I even go as far as shooting them a day or too before the season opener to make sure they are good to go.... then being sure you sharpen or change the blades, and then not shoot them again unless it is at a deer....

again just me, and given that, most targets are broadhead usuable, but not specifically designed for continous use of them! :)

We have a yellow yacket that we let our custumers shoot in our shop and typically only use one each year. These are great broadhead targets and the arrow removal is also easy.

Granted I probably dont shoot as many Broadheads as some, but once Im sighted in I just check the BH to make sure its hitting the samr place and Im good to go!!!

6 shooter with BH

Six shooter has worked great for FPs. Started shooting Snuffers to get ready for the season and demolished the target in about a week. From the earlier posts, I might try the Yellow Jacket. If anyone shoots lots of broadheads into their target and has one that will last more than a year - please relay the name for all of us!

We'll I just bought another BH target 3 rd one in 3 yrs . I have tried the Mikenzie Carbon Block, Field Logic Block and now the AmericianWhitetail Cube Foam Target. I got tired of my Tragets Barffin foam out on my lawn so I went to a soild foam target. Here is a pic I just got it last night so haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I will be making a review with this item and updates till hunting season as I shoot more BH's between now and September 2nd . It measures 20x20x14 and you can shoot all 6 sides unlike the Block from FieldLogic which is 2 sided unless you purchase the Block 4x4.

Here is the Americian Whitetail website: http://www.archerytargets.com/Cube.aspx

the yellow jacket isnt bad tough target but hard to pull arrows from. the 6 shooter is the worst target made! bought one and shot at it the first day and the first arrows with field points were goin in to the fletches and sticking out the other side. JUNK! hands down the best target available is the rinehart cube. 18 sides! my buddy had one for 4 years and just got a pass through a few months ago. and this thing was shot at 10s of thousands of times. it was almost in two pieces before it failed. they are worth a few extra dollars. look into them.
