What is the difference between BlackOvis Granite Peak Pants and BlackOvis Cottonwood Creek Pants. Just bought a pair of the Cottenwook Creek's and waiting for them to arrive. Looking at the Granite Peak as well but don't know what the differences are. Looking for a decent pair of warm weather pants that wont break the bank.

I was looking at those too. Please let us know what you think after use. Thanks

Seen walmart had one pair in my size so I grabbed them. Not bad. Like the price. Works fine for scouting in warm weather. I also use a pair of paratrooper pants that are light and have a roomy fit for a lot of walking. Been bushwacking, weedwacking, fishing, hunting, everyday wear, with that pair for well over 10 years. Just sowed up a little tear that I put in them years ago that didn't get any bigger

I don't know if it is PC to comment on these threads with folks being so sensitive these days. Camo hunting gear.....I get it and use it for hunting as I believe it gives an advantage as well as being fit for the purpose by design and insulation. Scouting clothing??? I wear jeans, a T-shirt.....maybe a flannel for scouting or riding the Rambo ebike in the spring and summer months. Are there recommended clothing for riding an ebike? Spandex seems to be the official "uniform" of the road bike folks.....never seen a commerical with a guy on a Quiet Cat or Rambo in spandex or specialized gear? Do I need an Elite shooter's shirt to properly practice with my bow in the backyard? Oh man.....this is getting so complicated.... 🤓🏹

I should have clarified a bit more. I would wear them scouting but that was more to give a timeframe of of when I would be wearing them...mid/late summer and springtime (please see my edited post). Obviously I would wear them more than just scouting. Just wanted to know if anyone knew the difference between the two pant types. No sensitivity here, I can bash and be sarcastic with the best of them but thank you for your rambling concerns that really didn't contribute to this thread.

I don't wear any of my hunting clothes to scout in, work in or hang cameras etc. They cost too much and IMHO the scent in time gets trapped in them no matter what you do to wash it out. So I don't wanna' be in those clothes busting the brush or sweating.

I just wear jeans and normal clothes. If I'm going into an area that I will hunt soon they are scent free washed but that's it. Save the high dollar stuff for the hunt.

100%,this. /\ Jeans, long sleeve shirt, work boots. Sprayed with permethrin gets the job done preseason. To each his own on the expensive stuff but I can’t grasp paying big bucks for hunting specific clothes to do work, scouting, stands. Actually I never spent big money on early warm season clothes for the hunt. Walmart stuff is just fine. I spend my money on performance clothes for when things get cool and freezing cold .

I subscribe to Camofire and have scoped out the BO website, but no experience with either pair. If they come in khaki and you give them a thumbs up, I may have to get a pair to ride my ebike. ;)

I bought couple pairs of these on sale from MidwayUSA and really liked them. They are light, stretch, have rip stop and don’t stain.
Found three more in the classifieds and pretty much all I wear for working around the farm

Received the Pants. I must say, they are very comfortable. They are not quiet enough for me to bow hunt in them but seems like the more I wear them, the quieter the are. Thin and light but I can tell they should be durable. The fit is on the small side. I normally wear 34x34 but ordered the 36x35 (at the recommendation of customer service) and they fit great. Going to order another pair this week in a different color. At this point I would definitely recommend...more to follow as I wear them more.
