I don't know how many there are. I like the Saunders bow square because it is 5/16" round like most of the arrows I shoot. I feel works in most of the current rests better.

I always use the GKF Tru-center gauge for finding center. I usually walk back tune as well, but this will definitely get you close.

I have never used a tool to set up my centershot.

Essentially I screw in a long stabilizer (anything over 10" will do) then put the lower cam on the floor, standing over the bow and look straight down at the arrow and the stabilizer. I then adjust the rest in or out to get the arrow parallel to the stab (it is very rarely centered on the stab).

That has always given me a good starting point for center shot adjustment.

A few things to consider.

1. Good bench bow press

2. Decent bow scales.

3. Chrono

4. Grain Scales

5. Strudy allen keys

6. Centre shot tool (lazer or tru-centre)

7. Fletching jig. Using the same jig for every arrow makes them identical.

8. Bow square ( I use a Bjorn)

9. Bow vice ( Only one on the list a don't have as I use the press)

10. Serving tool and serving material

11. Arrow saw

12. Draw length arrow

13. Nock alignment jig ( I use a Bjorn )

I am sure there are other things to consider but here is a few ideas.:darkbeer:

Must haves for me.

I use my lazer center shot tool, eze-eye or something, and I use the level that clips on the string, in conjunction with the level that clips on the arrow. I have an apple bow press and bow vice.

I don't see the need to spend much money on some of these things. I made a tru center shot device from a empty threat spool and a metal coat hanger. It works exactly the same, just doesn't look as pretty. I set the arrow rest so the arrow bisects the berger hole evenly and then set nock height using a technique I found here on AT. I take a large construction T-square and make a horizontal and vertical line on a wall in the garage. This is done to prevent terminal shock with my wife. I line up the bow string on the vertical line and adjust tied nock so the arrow lines up perfectly with the horizontal line. It works perfectly and I have not had to do any further adjusting.

The four tools I've found very helpful are:

1) Saunders Forked Horn bow square. As Deezlin says, the rod is round and sits in the rest just like an arrow.

2) R/S string Level. Snaps on the bowstring and shows true vertical.

3) R/S Arrow Level. Snaps on the arrow and shows true horizontal.

4) EZE-EYE Laser. Makes finding center shot very easy and is an interesting gadget to play with. (While some say it's unnecessary, it's something to put on a Santa Claus' wish list.)
