Not a ton of outfitters in Wisconsin, but most of the ones we have are in Buffalo County. I am sure if you search "buffalo county" on here you will get plenty of info on most of them. As for Illinois, search illinois outfitter and you will have more info than you can probably get through. I feel like I looked at every IL outfitter that has a website (probably missed some, but did a ton of research) and it really comes down to exactly what you are looking for and more importantly what you want to pay. I am going with Swain Farms this year, never read anything bad about them. Went with Bucks-R-Us last year, and although cheap, I would not go back.

Any specifics on what you want in the hunt and what you are willing to pay?

Head over to bowsite and check out the outfitter reviews as well.

There's a lot of good ones in Buffalo County, WI. Off the top of my head I can think of Bluff Bucks Outfitters, Buffalo County Outfitters, Bluff Country Outfitters, and Schuhter's Outpost. Tom Indrebo (owner of Bluff Country) was one of the first to practice QDM in the area and is one of the most knowledgeable people in the industry. He has a book and a couple of videos out there. Schuhter's Outpost is a pretty new outfit but they've shot some monsters and there's many more on their properties (the lodge neighbors my grandparents' farm, where I hunt) and Mark is a great guy. Bluff Bucks has hosted a number of outdoor celebrities - I know Lee and Tiffany were there a couple years ago.
Hope that helps.

There are plenty of quality outfitters all over the midwest. I dont get on here often, but when I do i track info on our operation. I have worked at Hadley Creek for 8 years, and proud to say that I do so. We pride ourselves in the way we run our operation, and the customer service that we provide our clients. Im not on here to bash other outfitters nor do I want to read a bunch of negative stuff about our operation. BP1992, I invite you to give me a call at the office to tell me why you have such a negative attitude towards us. 217-335-3804. I dont mind critisism, but explain why. KYhunter5569, i also invite you to call our office so that I can give you insite as to why we are a successful outfit, and why we have such a large and faithfull client base.

Our Men's Ministry will taking a group of men on a bowhunt to Pike County this October. We are working with a Christian outfitter.....5 nights lodging, 4 full days of hunting...we will have discussions each night about what it means to be a Godly Father and Husband. Any man over age 18 is welcome to join us.

Cost per man: $875 (plus your license).

Here's a link with all the details.

Schuhter's Outpost is where i hear alot of talk about lately and a couple friends hunted there last year and said Marc (owner) was above and beyond what they expected. Nice deer from nice operation? That doesnt seem real in this indusrty anymore, does it? Upon my friends thoughts i would think twice about booking a hunt with this guy at all, and my friends are whiney hunters......ill admit it i hate hunting with them at times HA
