Let me start by saying I have been using Moultries for the past 8 years and the old A series that they discontinued have been awesome to me. Probably have 15 of them. They are no reconyx but there also only $75 bucks or less. So I was excited about getting this new delta because If it was just as good as my old cameras I would be happy to add some cell cams to the Arsenal. They are not though, not even close. The set up fine and the app is great but that’s where the good stops, day pics are blurry and white and night pics are even worse. I ended up buying 8 of them and have returned all but one, I’m glad I sampled one for diving it and opening them all. Contacted Moultrie and they said they are aware of these issues, the issues I’m referring to are white out photos and when you select 3 round burst or 3 trigger the camera still only takes 1 photo. Thought it was just sending me one and the others were on the card but nope that function doesn’t work yet. So what I’m feeling is they weren’t ready but released a product just to get it out before hunting season so they didn’t lose out on profits. I hope customer service is right and they are planning on fixing these issues and sending a over the air update, I’ll change my thoughts once that happens. Here are some pictures to compare. Moultrie delta vs Reveal x. Also at bottom I will post pics of my 5 year old A series that have been my go to.

After 8 Moultries I won't own AnotherHere is what I had with them;
1 Ate Batteries, Another their High End Cam at the Time switched from Video Mode to Picture Mode had 3 of them with 6 months they all did that, Sent them in 2 then the 3rd and got 3 Replacements but the Replacements All Had Whiteouts ar Transition Times morning and evening, bought another mid range models and out of the box it had Blurry images so bad you could just see something but not sure what was in the pic. So another 12.00 because they tell you to Insurance it in case it gets lost! So that was just a few yet my 1st 2 2012 M990i were Great, then they changed something and many that bought the 2013 M-990i sent them back and some then got a 2012 as a Replacement but when they ran out most got another 2013 and sold them new in the unopened box. I also had issues with M-990i Gen 2 not flash with again new Cam sent it back they Had decent CS way back till they were bought out. When You call them they rarely had any idea what the issues were just send it back after 8 I tried their 940 Flash Extender Never Worked it would start and end after 10 seconds and never restart. Sent it back got another and the same so that is 10 returns so 120.00 out of Pocket end me using Moultries add to that since they are always changing the Case so you cannot reuse a security box so you then out the $ for a security box. So I switched some Stealths and now I mainly run Browning Spec Ops they all fit the same Security Box over the 4 different years but now they are changing their case designs each year so that adds to the out of pocket but only had 1 Spec Ops have an issue the flash stopped working but of 8 that is the only 1 much better than any Moultrie or Covert! I also have 2 Stealth DS4K's nothing bad with them either. But Today what You think is a decent Company is suspect till you try and learn otherwise and each brand has good and bad models you just take a chance when you buy something New and Now with No Good Game Camera Forums some would buy and try one and find out the good or bad of them. And security boxes are a throwaway Product Now. SO That is the Game Camera Industry! One would think they would have the issues worked out with doing R&D but we the Customers are doing their R&D Now as they cannot wait and do that as the time is not there to work out the Issue most have with Game Cameras Today as you can see with this Thread! Sad There is not R&D and so Quality is lacking and you cannot return them to the manufacturer for a refund and most sellers don't accept returns for a refund once you opened the box and forget about the paid shipping. So I never pay anything close to what most are asking for a Camera not even close to the MSRP Price all my Spec Ops the most I paid was 145.00 with S&H and they go for 189.99 and if last years 179.99 with S&H... Just what I experienced with several of the Brands just be happy you did not buy a Uway, if you had an issue they required you To send them a Payment for returning Shipping and time to Check the Camera and if it was moisture relate that was not covered!!!! Learn that after buying 1 they high end cams and now they are out of business!

I agree. I bought 5 when they first hit the market. I called and was told I got a bad batch as other retailers use different manufacturers. I sent mine back to Cabelas. I did what representative told me to do . . . . Order 5 directly from them as they have direct quality control over their manufacture. She did give me a discount fir my trouble. When they got them back in stock, I ordered another 5. I only tested the first one and nothing. Black out night pics, very dark twilight pics, blurry pics, and 20’ detection range!!! Chatted with rep who said he could replace my cameras, but they would have the same problem. They need a firmware fix, but had no idea when. They only offer 30 day returns, so he said that wasn’t an option. They are knowingly selling unusable and defective cameras. That’s fraud!!!

Any one interested in a class action suit. Bear hunting starts in about a week. Just bought only 2 Bushnell CORE 4KS units left at Cabelas as I need to watch my bear bait!!!
