I'm 6'3" and around 260. I'm using the hunter safety system vest and am very happy with it. Once you get it adjusted to you it is very comfortable and imo is not restrictive for me at all.

I think I saw a guy over on classifieds trying to trade for a 2x-3x HSS vest.

best thing to do is go to a store that actually carries them, (sometimes not easy to find) and try them on.

Most can go either over or under your outerwear because only the tether has to stick out.

I suggest wearing the HSS over rather than under. I tried it under once and just checking to make sure everything was strapped in good. The tether pulls your coat into your throat area. I felt like this would be a big problem if a fall were to accour.

I'm 6'-4" 265# and wear a XL HSS. They make a 2XL also. Mine is very comfortable.
