I cant speak for efficiency, but from what I have just found out...the AVS is just a slightly revised traditional 2 cam. One of my favorite things about a binary is that when the cams are timed at full draw, they will be in time for whomever shoots it, it is a slaved system. With 2 cams (avs included), the cams can technically roll over independently of one another, hence more possible tuning complications. The thing I dont like about traditional binaries is the fact you cant tune out cam lean. Im hoping the air raid will fix some of this with the new cable system.
