If funds allow this summer I'd like to get a new set of compact binos for archery season.
Good power range?
Compact design
Anything decent for less that $130?

Thanks!

FWIW...I always buy fixed power binos that match the power of my hunting rifle scopes. That way when I use them for gun season I see the same thing as I would looking thru the riflescope. Mine are 10x which has proven for me to be a good all around bow/gun magnafication.

I have a set of "Safari" Steiners in 10X.
I would rather have the 8X, next time!

I have used a set on Nikon Monarchs in 8X now for four years. Super light gathering and crisp vision. In the very early morning light I can see better with the Nikons than with the naked eye. Don't go too compact as you will loose the light gathering ability. I was told that the diameter of the lense should be five times the magnification for best light i.e. 8X42, 10X50
