I heard the x nocks fit. Why did they break? I have had great luck with these arrows.

No idea why they broke. I don't shoot groups very often and if I ever make contact, I change them. Had 2 break right off of the string. Clean breaks. Maybe I got a bad batch. I love the arrows. Been using them over a year now. No plans on switching. Just need more nocks.

I put Bohning A nocks in mine but haven't shot them much yet. I looked for a Bushing so I could use G nocks but haven't found one that would fit yet.

Thanks! I've had a few of the BEA "R" nocks feel like they've become loose on the serving after shooting them for a while and since I've had 2 of them break on me, i find myself doubting them. I've also had a few out of the package that didn't fit the same on my serving. Appreciate it!

 

Have the same issue with thier standard nocks!!!!! At 61lb draw they seem to open up and sit too loose for my liking. Black nocks have been more prone to opening for me, i just switched to pins to see if there is any advantage

 

Good to know that's it's not just me before I ordered more. Maybe I'll try a package of both the Easton and Bohning and see which I like more.

 

I switched mine all out for Beiters.

 

Just looking through my nocks and I found 2 more that are cracked. Hard to tell from the pics but I'm definitely switching now

 

I put x nocks in mine. Wish they made a bushing for a g nock. That would be awesome.

The best nocks made are the Firenock nocks. I use them in all my arrows, with or without the light circuits. Dorge spares no expense and all his stuff is highest quality available, but that comes with a higher price. His X nock size is tiny and strong, very durable. You will only break one if you hit it with another arrow.

 

Didn't know they made them without the circuits. Wish I wouldve seen these before I ordered some Easton X's. Looks like you get 7 for $10. I could live with that. Appreciate the heads up for future purchases. Heck, maybe I'll just sell the X's when I get them

Maybe your nocks are too tight on the serving. The only time I have had nocks break from just shooting this was the reason.

 

They are a bit more snug than all of my other nocks but don't seem too overly tight. Either way, I have some replacements on the way

 

Is anyone running the spartans without the bushings? Using a H nock?

 

The H nock will not work as it is 0.235". The spartan is 0.230". They are 0.005" smaller in ID.

 

I swapped all over to x nocks.. Never had any problem with them, I just got a better fit on my string with my x nocks off my fmj's i was previously shooting
