Hello everyone I have a question as to the manufacturer of this bow. I've read that Diamond makes this bow. But when I went to a local pro shop to upgrade the arrow rest the guy behind the counter said it was made by Bear. I looked at the Bear bows he had there and sure enough same limb pockets and same cam system with the adjusting let off option just like the Legend series bows Bear makes so is it a Bear manufactured bow or a Diamond manufactured bow?

I had a Redhead Blackout SS which was made by Diamond/Bowtech. But the Epic definitely looks like a Bear. There are a couple of the bows I saw that look like manufactured by Bear. My guess is that it is a Bear.

To me, that looks an awful lot like the bear paradox riser (attached). I also am curious about the cam system this has; as the EKO cams in the other bear bows have the same let-off settings as the epic. Would be interested to see if they are the same or similar.

I was also told my an employee at bass pro that the epic and the pursuit (blackout) are bear bows just with blackout badging.

I'm not selling it sorry man. I just bought it and love the crap out of it just wanting to know who the maker is and if there is a manual for it online somewhere. I'm coming from shooting a Mathews MQ32 a 2000 model to a 2020 Epic.

It is made my bear. My uncle works at cabelas. I personally have one my self. The 50-70 pound model. I upgraded sight to single pin and rest to a drop away. But it is a sweet bow! I’m attempting to shoot heavy FOC arrows this year out of it. See how it tunes to them!

Awesome. I put an EZV bow sight and a drop away rest on mine as well. Do you have a problem with your string stop rubber flexing to much and catching your string off the end of the rubber? Mine does it it's annoying but I'll live with it lol.

The Blackout Epics have tags on them that say Bear. The instruction manual says Bear also.
Some Cabela's and Blackout bows are made by Bear, some are made by Diamond. If I remember correctly the bows made by Diamond say so on top of the bow's upper limb.
The bows are easy to distinguish once you know all of the split limb bows are made by Bear and the single limb bows are made by Diamond.
