I have been shooting the Blazer 2" vanes and love the consistency of them (2 robinhoods) the first week! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has done some comparisons between the two. Quickspin is now making the smaller target models. Looking mainly for 3D competition but want to know if they will fly a broadhead like the Blazers also?

If you think the quick spins are going to shrink your group size like the adds tell you then I have got some ocean front property right here in good ol KY for sale.
As long as all of your arrows are fletched the same and you are not getting any bad flight due to fletching contact, your groups will be as good as you can shoot. More spin on the arrow is not going to make you a better shooter.
Practice makes you a better shooter.
Blazers are a lot tougher vane than the quick spin, you have 2 robin hoods, I would say your grouping is fine.

thanks Crazyhorse. I was just wondering if the quickspin would help stabilize the arrow a bit quicker and reduce some of the shots that seem to drift. I guess your right though, it probably is more of my shooting then equipment.

The quickspins shoot great but they are not very durable at all!!! The blazers will way outlast them and give you awesome performance!!

I put some Quickspins on a set of A/C/C's I just bought 3 weeks ago. 1 day of shooting and I had 3 arrows with tears forming in at least 1 vane.. I'm going to shoot the QS's until they die, but then I'm going to flex fletch or back to blazers.

vanes

I was having trouble getting broadheads to fly true for me when I was using 4" vanes. I switched to 2.25 quickspins and got the heads to fly true. Blazers must be pretty durable, because I've never had a problem with mine. I've been shooting them for 3 yrs. I've never used blazer vanes, but I will look in to them for sure.
