Is anyone shooting this combo...?? Or a big fixed blade head with the Blazers...??

I got mine all setup and they are not flying to my satisfaction... With my 4" feathers and right helical the shafts are touching at 25 yards...

With the blazers I am getting 2-3" groups, and they are off from where my field points hit...

Only difference is the Vanes... Anyone else having these issues...?? I am going back to my Feathers I think...

Try adding one more blazer and see if that helps you out. I know the stingers fly great with four fletch blazers.

I tried Blazers at the end of last season and had similar results...

Their just isn't enough fletching to stabilize the bigger fixed blades...The only advantage I see is that you get a couple more fps with field points during 3d shoots...And if you have to add an extra vane in order to get them to stabilize then you are defeating any purpose in using them...just my .02

I respectfully disagree. When the blazers came out, I did extensive flight tests with numerous BH's including large ones like the original Snuffer, the Phantom and they flew no different than a Wacem, Snuffer SS, ST , etc.

I can take any good quality bh that is straight and have it hit the same spot as other bh's and field tips. Nothing special about it but paying close attention to detail and putting in the time to fine tune my bows.

I was a staunch feather user myself and since blazers came out, I havent looked back.

I shoot Phantoms with Blazers and have excellent results.

One thing I learned, when I first started using Blazers I didn't do much to my jig. Once I re-set it for max helical (they are only two inches) the difference was dramatic. Leaving my jig set the way I had it I wasn't getting much spin on them since they were so short.
