I am fairly new to bow hunting. From what I have read on this board a lot of people recommend blazer vanes for fixed blades.
How do they perform with mechanical broadheads? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
One certainly doesn't require extra stabilization as well as the added surface area and weight of any full sized vanes when shooting mech b-heads. These reasons make the Blazers and Duravanes NEW Predator vanes excellent choices and the best way to go in my opinion! You've gotta try 'em!
If the Blazers will control a fixed blade broadhead (and they control the biggest and baddest), they certainly will control a mechanical broadhead, which basically has the same profile as a field point.
