Does anybody know of a good way to prevent blisters? I am getting them on the outer top part of my left wrist from my release pressing on the skin there. If I loosen the release, it just rubs, and putting a bandaid over the area does not work because it simply falls off.

Does anybody have experience with this? I shoot left handed and use an index finger release similar to this one:

I wouldn't be opposed to a different release. I just need one that requires minimal grip strength as a I have arthritis.

My last release like that did the same thing.

Here's the solution I used: Go to the liquor store and buy a bottle of crown Royal whiskey. Drink the whiskey. Cut a piece of cloth from the purple whisky bottle bag that came with the crown Royal. Sew the purple cloth over the irritating part of the release.

Probably a piece of moleskin would also work. Just not as fun.

Good luck with it. I permanently solved the issue by switching to handheld releases. Sorry about my assumption of your age based on your arthritis comment.

I would try putting it in cider.
