pretty much got mind set on investing in a blob for target practice. Dock foam is not cutting it with my new bow a 70lb diamond outlaw set at 65lb. Is the 8" thickness adequate for non everyday shooter? I only occasionally practice with broadhead when nobody is around and generally only 125 gr. field points(dont wanna frighten neighbors anymore then probably already do as i live in the Peoples Republic of Rhode Island ..lol) I would like one I can wheel around straped to handtruck as i realize ther heavy . I shoot at end of a dead end with steep wooded hill as backstop and 1/2 mile of woods behind that. was thinking the 12" thick probably overkill and cumbersome and the 24"x24"x8" more then adequate.

thanks. 8" thick would fit perfect for hand truck. i know there heavy. my old favorite, free dock foam i find floating or washed up on beach doesnt cut it for this new bow, burying arrows to fletching.
