Anyone with recent reviews of the Gravedigger heads.
I shot them years ago before the sell out and just watched a review from Lusk that’s after Bloodsport bought them where they did very good.

The guy who designed the Gravedigger now makes these. Made by AAE in the US for him.

Actually just sent a msg to Evolution with a question.
Great looking head, I just don’t know if I have enough KE and momentum to push a 2” mechanical though a whitetail.
62lbs at 29.5” draw shooting a 455 grain arrow at 265 fps

I used to use the original.
The original used 420 stainless. when they were sold out I noticed they started using 416, now they are using 420 again. So for a minute they did change but note they should be back to original.
That being said, I use the evolution product but have a few older ones but nothing from the bloodsport line.

The cool thing is, you can swap it back and forth from fixed to mechanical if you end up hunting something you’re not confident with. But the new head by evolution is superior after inspecting. Bleeder is way thicker although the other head a chisel tip. But the new one got that precision feel also shorter

Have read mixed reviews on the Hyde blade sharpness.
With the curved blades I don’t have a way of sharpening them.
I do like the Hyde design over the GD
Blade sharpness on the newer Hyde is pretty good. They are easy to touch up on a Lanky though if needed; can get those curved blades scalpel sharp.
