These 2 guys where the about the only 2 TV guys I liked. Preston was on the Mountain Men TV program, He was always helping out Eustice. He just found out he had a tumor on his liver 3 weeks ago. And then the program The Last Alaskans Bob Harte also died , he had cancer. Sorry to see them go.

I always liked Preston. Eustace is sort of a drama queen like that hag on Life Below Zero.

last episodes i saw and wondered how is it that you can get a classified subsitance permit to hunt in a refuge when you own a big operation like that.noit saying there rich and not saying they dont eat off the land but if you can afford to have all the camp gear and take an expensive ride flown into the refuge couldnt you just buy a few cases of raman noodels burgers and hot dogs next time you where in town.

A little google will show you exactly how poorly Rich these people are. Some where multi millionaires before becoming Reality Stars, minimum pay is about 20 grand per person for a 13 episode season.
The Reality of these shows is that they are not poor in the least bit, its all show for the viewers. The 2 spoken about by the OP were worth a minimum of 1/4 million upon their death, grant it not filthy rich but no where near as poor as the shows try to portray.

Wow! I knew about Preston but I hadnt heard about Bob, the last I saw him on Last Alaskans he and his dog were going to take a trip through the lower 48 where its warm and "live it up", His death is very sad to me, I hope he was able to "live it up" a little before he passed....RIP Preston and Bob.......Hb
