I have a Lynx 4 arrow quiver and was putting it on my new bow today. I forgot that on my old bow I had it on, it had a small, square piece of rubber to go between the sight and the locking quiver bracket. Is this a vital piece and what does it do? i have it on right now but I hate how it kind of curls a little bit between the sight and bracket. Does it absorb shock or something? Just wondering if it is something I really need on or not....Thanks!

My Lynx quivers don't have this. It was used with Kwikkees to help stop noise? I don't have them on any of our Bohning quivers.

hmm...I did have a Kwikee Quiver before that, maybe it was with Kwikee and I just put it on. Guess I'll take it off though,lol.
