Recently recieved my Border Archery Hawk Hunter 66" 50# @ 31" draw full Carbon (No glass) limb Longbow. Sid did a wicked job with this bow. I ran some GoldTip Traditional Classic XT full length 340's 662 grains through the Chrono Testing. This is the fastest Longbow I have ever shot. Amazing Technology is an understatement.

Adding some Photos as it was built. Sid and His crew are a serious team of Bowyers that are miticulous with the bows they make. The Main wood is Cocobolo and the Vaneer on the riser is Yew. Then Rock Maple Core with a tiny bit of Phenolic in there. Of course the Carbon Fiber also. 0 glass used in the making of the Hawk Hunter. Which from what I hear is not an easy task.

With the US dollar and Brexit, Border Bows are more affordable than ever.
I am shooting a 50# Covert Hunter Hex 9w (wood cores) that is amazing. And the draw cycle is fabulous. Only gains 1-2# over the last 3" of draw.
