Does anyone have experience with Bosen ILF longbow limbs. i see they rate the limb weight at 28” on a 17” riser. I was wondering if the rated limb rate is the maximum with the limb bolts turned all the way in, or the midpoint, or minimum? Anyone have experience? I would use them on a 17”:Titan riser.

I have a set of Bosen limbs on my Dryad Epic and LOVE them! Mine are 45# and that's about what they pull on my 17" Dryad. I think mine come in at 47" or right around that at my 29.5" draw. Very smooth and pretty quick. However...they don't do well on my Satori riser. Different limb pad angle that doesn't favor those limbs. I think that Titan is closer to my Dryad than the Satori so you should get good results I'd think. Mine are the glass/foam, not the carbon/foam fwiw. I've not measured the draw weight at different limb bolt settings. But they should be able to drop about 10% so a 50# limb would be adjustable down to about 45# or so.

I had the carbon/bamboo version a few years ago. Required a very high brace (8.5”+) on the risers (Bernardini Cobra & Mamba) I was wanting them to work on. Their curve transitioned way lower in the limb than any other hybrid limb I’ve owned. Replaced them with some Jim Belcher Sky limbs (now Bivouac). Great limbs, what I expected for limb profile and worked on all my risers.

That’s interesting. I had a set of Belcher limbs I liked a lot. Unfortunately the moved on. I was hoping the Bosen carbon were a good line. An Austrian guy on YouTube gave them high marks, good speed, so I guess we’ll see. you are using them on 21” riser, so I can see why a higher brace height.

Bosen has two types of longbow limbs. The cheap ones and the mid of the pack price - the LCS double carbon foam core ones. For $280 you get better limbs than the Dryad Epic a couple of years old in quality and a tad better performance based on my assessment.
The limbs came in sleeves similar with those I’ve got from high level W&W limbs.

In terms of fit and finish they have that mat finish similar with what you get on Black Wolf limbs, with no logo. Bosen next to Dryad Epic

The geometry is different and I posted already the picture of the two bows. Bosen and White Feather Lark 19” riser, Dryad Epic limbs on Dryad Epic 19” riser.

Both are having the 7.5” BH
Bosen vs Nika, just to have an idea how they visually compare

In my opinion, if you have the $280, buy them. But use a riser for longbow limbs - WFL is one of them.

PS The limbs are rated on 17”. I ordered #50 and on 19” riser they bottomed in at #50@28”. Perfect for me. I bought them from here:
They were in my hands in a week. I ordered initially #45 but changed my mind and sent an email 8hours after the order was placed. They answered right away that the limb poundage was changed and next email was that the limbs were shipped. This for me is an indication of good service.
