Which bow case are you guys using and why? I just have a cheap one for now but would like to upgrade. I have to take my quiver off, which is probably normal, and still can't fit everything in this case.

This is probably my favorite bow case to date because my bow will fit in with a 2 piece quiver attached, and I have room for my binos, safety harness, and a bunch of other things. It's heavy, but it has wheels if needed, is approved for airline travel, and tough as nails. They certainly are not cheap, but once you have it, you are set for life provided you don't buy a super long bow that won't fit, but this model will fit the majority of hunting bows on the market these days like the Mathews Phase 4 33 or Lift 33.

SKB I series double has been awesome for me. It’s been all over the country on a lot of flights and never had a minutes issue. I can fit two bows sans quivers or one bow with quiver and most of my gear for a week long back pack hunt.

For local stuff, my bow rides on the truck seat.

If you’re traveling via air, buy once, cry once.

I have a Plano bow guard I was gifted Christmas last year and I do not recommend it. Foam glue melted off after a couple of months of use. If you only ever keep your arrows in your quiver it’s fine, but I like to travel with my quiver and field tipped arrows.

I'm still using my SKB from 20 years ago. Double parallel bow case. It's been in the back of Toyota 4x4 on really bad muddy ruts. Also used it when flying for hunts.

If I get another bow case it will be SKB.

Good luck.

SKB seems to be the pinnacle in bow cases but when I go to my hunting shack this is the case I use. It's a rough ride in with enough clay and water that we use an Argo with tracks to get there. I just strap it down and forget about it. Hose it down when it gets dirty.

For the price I think it's hard to beat for a case you can beat! It's also TSA approved and has wheels. It is heavy at 22lbs.

For a hard case I use a SKB 4318. It allows me to keep my quiver attached or I can un-attach the quiver from the bow and strap the it in the cover. There's a big arrow holder area in a recess under the bow. Also, there are a bunch of little open areas I can use for other things like storing limb legs or range finder, etc. I'm going to see which little nook is best for those and glue in some straps for those.
I got this case for my TRX34 and like it so much that I'm gonna get one for my Traverse as soon as they go on sale again.

Disclaimer: Below is just a picture I got off the internet. The little containers you see in the mesh pockets don't come with the case, the mesh pockets are nice and tight on their own though and work well to store release, etc.. I also want to mention that the below picture shows a quiver on the bow and a quiver in the cover which I don't believe is possible to do at the same time if you want to close the case fully. I believe it's just showing you can keep the quiver on or attach to the cover. It may be possible with your bow and setup though.

I’ve owned several cases from Pelican, SKB, Plano…

Easily the best hard case is the Pelican Air. Most features, best organization, lightest weight.

SKB is nice but not as organized and doesn’t come with as many features.

Pelican Vault is ok but it will require additional luggage for air travel and you’ll always be flagged as a gun case

An alternative option is the Easton Bowtruk if one light bag with clothes is your needs
