I am looking at getting an after market grip, but i have an older fred bear and i havent seen any grips made for my particular bow. I am wondering if you guys have ever successfully rigged one to fit your bow.
best grip is no grip. notice all the manufacurers that are putting just a little rubber on the handle. that's because most archers torgue their hands if there is to much grip pressure. the best thing to do is no handle at all and if the bare metal gets to cold, wrap a peice of rubber around the metal handle area. paper tune and experiment with hand placements and you'll see some rips and tears.
