I prefer to hunt out of tent blinds of some kind. After a few rotted (our season lasts 3 months) I started building my own walmanized wooden boxes, its just a great way to hunt. Also, the shot opportunities are fantastic and often scary close. Since the critters can't see you inside, you can shoot almost any time. For you guys who deal with single digit temperatures and whatever this snow "thing" might be??? Anyway, you'd be SUPER comfy. Worth the effort if you have a set stand location.

As with anything, there are tips and tricks. Here's a few learned after making tons of mistakes.
