your better off looking at the KISS press (similar to last chance archery's press) on here to build one...it should press any bow, where the apple is very limited...

Ditto. Apple is pretty much a thing of the past. You can also look at the Omni press on here as well.

You can press any bow on the market with an Apple press,if you have the right model and the attachments.They even have a slip on attachment for beyond paralel limbs.

For what they cost with all the extras needed just buy a better press for less.
What do you want the press for is my first question. I have one of those hand held presses that uses a wire and turnbuckle thing and it works awsome. I can have my bow completely apart in less than 5 minutes. However, if your looking to do alot of bows then that's a different story.
I have a Mathews Drenalin bow that I plan on pressing to do minor work, i.e. peep adjustments, re-serving etc... I guess I also envisioned my buddies bringing their bows (all have parrallel limbs) over also because our local archery shop nickels and dimes you for every little thing they can. A new winners choice string at the shop with the cat whiskers, peep, drop away rest reserved will cost you upwards of $150.

Yes,there may be better presses,and they may cost less in the long run.I was just pointing out that an Apple is capable of doing what ever you need.I understand what you are saying about cost.
