Hi all I own a Americian cy quest bow ( second hand) and have been told via your fantastic forum that it is exactally the same as a HCA machined supreme. I was wondering if the is any way that I can tell the max poundage I can set this bow to? It is set at 55lb but the limbs dont have on it like Hoyt the min poundage and the max etc. I dont want to screw up the limbs too hard and then hope I dont break some thing ie trial and error look forward to your replys thanks Robert

Turn both limb bolts down till they will not turn, and then back them off I full turn. This will give you your max bow peak weight. Then turn your bolt back with both limb equal turn to get to the weight you want to hunt with. Most bows have a 10 lb weight range, so if the bow is set 55 now, I would think its peak weight could be 60 lbs.
