Decided to get set up to do a lot of my own work, Vs drive hour to bow shop and have to leave bow for days to week to get work done. Made the bench for like 45 bucks. Told my fiance those 2x4s in the garage would be needed at some point lol. I'm ready to go now just need some more skills. Hour to do a peep sight is just like a pro!😂 Right?

My first peep sight probably took an hour. When you are working for yourself, time doesn’t matter as much as perfection.

I have a very similar setup in the corner of my garage. Same press and draw board. I think I use my press, draw board, and vice more than I actually shoot now haha. It’s super fun and rewarding to do your own work, and you learn a lot. Looks great!

Nice. But I see one huge problem,

Your bench needs to be 2 to 3 times longer.

Very nice. You have made the most out of your limited space. My shop is very similar in that it is small and packed in. Nice job!

You will have to come to the Demmer Center at MSU. We have it all Sparty. Hoyt and Mathews dealer just off campus, Great place to shoot. 90M FITA, 2 Techno hunting simulator,2 1/2 indoor range and 3-D outside, and a full pro shop. Home of MSU Demmer Center JOAD and MSU Collegiate Archery. A very hidden Archery Center. But you have a nice workshop.

Looks great. I have a magnified ring light mounted on mine too. They provide amazing utility. A must have for any workbench.

You need more clutter and a bucket with parts you have no idea what they are for. Looks good.

My son's a junior up there and been telling him to go in there. What do a lot of your archers do with their bows? His appartments even have a strict no weapons policy around campus and I asked they include a bow☹. I have to bring his bow and we go there after my take to dinner visit.
Working on it 😆

Nice work man! You will get so much more satisfaction out of working on your own bow. My only tip is to get rid of that ugly @$$ green flag in the background.

GO BLUE!

He can store his bow at the Demmer Center. Let me know when you come in!

It looks great. I like to improve things after the fact, no matter how long it takes. You're on the road to success)

Very nice use of limited space but what's with the Roman Empire Flag in the background? Are you from Italy?

My son will be an incoming freshman this fall. Great to know he will have a place close by to shoot!
