I've always used a 550 paracord for a wrist sling, but was wondering if there is something else to consider. My local shop carries the blackout stiffy. Any other options?

Some folks prefer cheap and simple.....a loop of paracord serves the purpose. I also used a leather shoelace in the same manner back in the day and it worked fine. If you want something a bit more fancy, I've purchased several slings from "Bling Sling" on Ebay over the past decade. They are competitively priced, come ia a variety of colors and weave patterns. The last one I bought was about $12-14 and remains on the bow 18 months later.....less than a dollar a month at this point. However if you are more typical AT and buy/sell a few bows a year, that could be a more expensive option.
Hunting or target? I get strap material and make my own.........because I don't like all the connectors and mounting brackets etc. Loop it around and heat up a field tip and push it through both layers.
The stiffy sling is definitely my favorite. it holds its shape without any drooping or sagging. Never a thought or issue to get my hand through it. I do like to add a little color tho... this is a stiffy sling that I added the paracord braid to.
