Wouldn’t know until tried it. Comes in at over double cost of standard tape if I remember correct and I got a 3 or 4 pack last time I bought tape. Don’t think I’ll pull trigger to try it. I don’t have a Mathews but I tape on riser without grip on PSE/Hoyt.

You mean it shouldn’t take a year to figure out some diagonal lines? Also you are saying there is no scientific data that those octagons and diagonals are perfectly placed to minimize grip movement? It sure seems pretty legit to me. I’ll be shooting like Levi at next event and bank account will follow soon as I donate to bowmars.

 

Depends on your preference, but I often see people removing the grip and taping up the riser to get the feel they want. Taping over the grip may be too bulky, but it all depends on your hands.

 

Oh boy, another repackaging of a product you can buy for half the cost elsewhere. But by god Levi's name is on it so it must be new!

Yeah, that was a bit ridiculous, but it was still a good idea. I went and bought some of those alcohol dispensing bottles off of Amazon to use for my arrows. Came out not much cheaper than Bowmar's so at least he wasn't jacking up the price on that one.

 

I'm not hating on Josh or anyone else but I'm like everyone else. I don't see anything ground breaking, I haven't used it but I don't see it being any better than the Wilson tennis racket tape you can buy at walmart for ¼ of the price.

I used to shoot around 150 rounds....which is pretty darn good out of 300. I put the grip tape on...and now I have shot 6 straight rounds of 151....worth every penny

i don't think it's about haters at all. i use the nose button but I think people get tired of the shyster type sales pitch he does with everything as if he invented something new. especially with the beauty supply acetone dispenser and now lizard skins.

 

Just lost a lot of respect for Levi. But hey, the guy can't win anymore so he's gotta make money somehow 😂. Bowmarginal is such a tool tho...

I personally dont see an issue. They took an existing product and expanded on it. They catered to the archery world with details to what they wanted in a tape which seems to mainly the gripping pattern.
Isnt it just like any other product that gets improved on?
Its all good though, not everyone sees things the same way.

 

I don’t think the problem is the “invention”; more-so he is acting like he is filling a huge void in the market with no alternatives; whereas Wilson has been pretty much the standard for any grips for 60 years.. or whatever it’s been.

It’s actually pretty funny too, because I recently ordered a Wilson wrap for a couple of my bows and they are packaged and sent nearly exactly how Bowmar explains he “purposely redesigned his grips for”. Adhesive backing and wrapped in plastic.

 

That didnt take long, ill keep using badminton racquet tape at 3 rolls per 12bucks.

Haters. Wilson and another companies that make grip tape tape probably don’t support hunting. So I’m going to buy some tape and don’t care if I pay more at least I know Levi/Bowmar’s are hunters and give back to archery.

Wow! Why all the hate someone steal your lunch money? When did Levi become bad for archery? Poole has his views but with out him people wouldn't even be able to watch archery. Bowmar still hasn't even been found guilty but hey its America guilty till proven innocent.

Good for him for trying to fill holes that he sees in the market. Can’t hate a guy for trying to make money. Not overly enthusiastic about the grip. But they can’t all be winners. Sometimes you get duds. Sometimes you get the nose button which is awesome and innovative.

Like I say about Dudley… I’m doing well. But he is doing way better than me, making lots of money on what I try to do for a hobby. I’m low key jealous and so are most of his haters…

 

Next week he’ll reinvent the razor blade and give us all the purpose built serving thread cutting tool we all deserve…

Well Levi is a christian guy and I gotta trust his discernment. He made mention the tape was a different material then the sporting tape. Sp I will give him the benefit of the doubt right now because as a follower of Jesus that he wears on his sleeve, I don't think he will associate with snake oil.

If as written here by a few, that this is a repackaging of a common sold tape with profit added on ? Thats disgraceful. I have just a little bit of faith, Levi wouldn't roll this way and tarnish his name. He doesn't need the money that bad,and cut it with Bowmar.

Dudley is more of a gimmick salesman, but he's just trying to find a nitch and satisfy it. Such as his Sitka packet quiver pants. Or his kick stand. Some people want such stuff and will buy it,Dudley is more than happy to fill the need. I don't find fault with that.People are happy to fill a need with a gimmick,fine ! Thats what sales are filling a need.

 

I have a theory that most of these complaints come from doughy men getting triggered by Bowmar bc he’s such a unit. Get in the gym softies, lol

Money is money and there is no shame in getting it anymore. A hec's suit, a nose button, and a signature roll of tape will put a booner on top of that Vega this fall. And that's a free tip.

 

For the people that use full grips wraps like this new one, what’s the advantage? I shoot a prime and stick some grip tape on the front of the grip and that’s it. Don’t see an advantage to a full wrap. Now I’m curious.

 

Had mixed feelings myself but ordered one to try it out. Yesterday was first day with it on but like it so far. Only thing is you have to install upsidedown to get both types of texture exposed. We'll see how it wears.
