Well, the smoke has cleared and the dust has settled and alot of people walked away with alot of great prizes. I was not one of them. But I had a Kick Ass time. I thought this was one of the better shoots this year. What do you all think?

It was a great shoot. I didn't get to shoot both days but I had a blast on Sunday. There were the obvious complaints that usually occur. People with range finders, people not clear on course paths and back ups. But for the most part very well done. The only real complaint that I had was that it was too drawn out on Sunday. For those of us that have a ways to travel to get home it would be nice to be leaving the range earlier than 5pm. I'm sure that the guys working the shoot would like to get home a little earlier too.

My hat is off to the club and all those involved in putting it on.

It was also great to see that a lot of the shooters that won the money dots donated the money to the boys medical fund. That was great to see.

I appreciate that Curt, thanks. Hope ya had fun.

I thought Bownanza was nothing short of awesome.
The unbelievable amount of hard work it took to put it all together aside, I loved it. I had a blast.
It was the best 3D course I've shot yet, and certainly the most memorable for me. Anybody that was there Sunday will know why. It was a very emotional day for me.

Like Curt said, the shoot was great, and I got the chance to meet many, many new folks and make some new friends within our circles. Some shooters blew me away, when after being awarded the cash envelope for nailing a money-dot, they immediately walked over to my son's donation bucket that the club put out, and without any hesitation or fanfare, dropped all the money they won on dots, into the bucket to help with Dylan's medical expenses and Leukemia treatments.
It was a gesture of kindness and generosity that I simply couldn't believe.
To all of you that donated to his fund, my wife and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Once again, it proves what an awesome family archers and bowhunters are. You guys are the best. THANK YOU.

Thanks to one and all that came to the shoot. We hope you had a good time, and we hope to see you at next year's Bownanza.

My thanks also go out to Cedar River Bowmen as a group, for being a class act, and to everybody that helped make it a success.

This shoot rocked, and in my opinion will only be better next year.

And I'm still in shock about the Idaho hunt Curt....

See ya at the next one.

Amazing Tournament

The money dot shooters were so generous and i hope your son does pull through i hear hes a fighterand ill be praying for him. Thanks for the work yu did on the door prizes i walked away with two of them and took first in young adult fixed sights fingers. I think that next year if the sokeye season isnt the same weekend of the shoot there will be 350-400 shooters after all the good feedback this year.

You're very welcome my friend.
I hope you had fun, and hope to see you out again next year. Next year will put this shoot to shame. Trust me. We have BIG plans for next year.
Congrats on the win. You earned it.
Glad you enjoyed the door prizes. It was a pain in the butt to get them all put together, but it was an absolute blast giving them all away.
It was kinda like Christmas morning.
I've never seen a door prize drawing that lasted over an hour before.

It was coooool.....

Yes, my son is a fighter, and he can't wait til he can get back out to the range when he's healthy again, and shoot some more 3D.
What the money dot guys did was unbelievable. I've talked to some of them after the fact, and found out that they had planned that all along. They said they were shooting for "Dylan dots", and if they won the money, it was going towards his medical fund. That was an unbelievable gesture by many, many good folks at the shoot, and I can't say thank you enough. You guys are awesome.

Congrats again on the win Redfingers, and see you next year!
