Who's shooting bows 10 years-old or older, a guy I work with gave a hoyt havoctec, put new strings & cables, it shootsike a dream, think I found my hunting bow for this year

Have a Mathews LX I plan on hunting with some this year, and an SQ2 if I ever get the right mods. Havoctec was my first bow. Love that thing but gave it to a buddy to learn to shoot on.

I shoot 3D with a 37” CSS System II and hunt with a 33” System II. Both are from 1996 and still put in the work.

2012 Bear Encounter, admittedly it’s not seen a steady 10 years of use, about a 4-5 year hiatus until this spring. Shoots great though, especially after moving into a heavier arrow, before it used to be a little jumpy on the shot.

PSE bow madness xs 2009 model. It’s the next best thing to the switchback xt I use to have. I miss that 1. But the xs does a good job for me

2009 Hoyt Alphamax and Turbohawk still dropping critters. Not speed demons but very quiet and accurate. A joy to shoot with 7 1/4" brace height too.

I still hunt with my 2012 Vector 32, my Spyder's, (30/34/Turbo), will be 10 next year, still great bows, no way a handicap.

I do like my 2018 pair of Hyperforce's, 50lb and 60lb, My Axius alpha and Ultra are great, and my 2022 Twin Turbo is a top performer for sure. But they only shoot where you point 'em. If you guess the yardage wrong, you will miss. They are not magic.

I had a Havoctec for a few seasons, great little bow. Donated it to a disabled Vet, so he could shoot from his wheelchair.
