If you have to have a kisser, just remove the factory ss & hardware and get a string tamer that mounts under your grip...if not, maybe you could use a peep sight instead and keep the factory setup....I'm a peeper guy myself.
I shoot a kisser on my 101st at 1.75" above nocking point. I use a neet eliminator button an have had no problems. Any higher than 1.75" and there will be issues with the SS.
Speed is in the signature on a fully loaded hunting setup.
Do yourself a service and at least try some shooting without it. I did it kicking and screaming but I really do shoot better without it. I'm a believer now.
Kisser's work well on the Airbornes. They come off the string with almost the same speed as the arrow. The only problem is trying to aim them down range instead of back at your forehead!
