This is the biggest benefit to the bridgelock stabilzers, they are technically adjustable in length. If you buy one at a length the longest you feel you'd go with your setup (let's say 12" for a hunting rig), then no matter how you change your setup (different quiver, different sight, different sight mount (side to bridgelock)) you can adjust your one stabilizer to work best for your current setup. You eliminate the need to have to buy several stabilizers which in the long wrong end up costing you more than the single bridgelock stabilizer.
Another added benefit is that it can be slid in so it can stay on the bow in a case versus having to remove and store it separately.
I did see on here one person complaining that the weights were not located in the end of the stabilizer, but the end of the stabilizer with the dampener is weighted and considered a weight in itself so your weight is actually at the end of the stabilizer.
