some say if your bow is properly tuned you don't need to line the broadheads up with the flectching, others say they need to be aligned. i would like to have them aligned, but how do you do that with fixed blades on a carbon. with my old aluminums i just heated the insert, and obviously cannot with the carbons. thanks for any info.

Don't bother there is no reason to. You can't align 4 blade BH's if you only shoot 3 fletch which many people here do. It does not change the aerodynamics of the arrow.

I have to agree. If your bow is tuned your broadheads should fly like darts. Aligning the blades to the vanes is just someone's last ditch effort to make their sticks fly straight.

Not to kick the piss out of a dead horse....but save yourself the headache and don't worry about lining them up with anything.

It doesn't matter.
