I have tuned my bow to feild points and they fly great, now I am trying to get my bh's to fly the same they hit about 8" to the right (I shoot left handed),
I have searched and read dozens of things on tuning, so I should be able to slightly move my rest to the left and meet up with my feild points, so I did and my broadheads are dead on wear my feild points were and my feild points are hitting 8" to the left:confused: .
It seems to be the same problem no matter what way I move my rest,

I am shooting a 70lb Bowtech Allegiance 30" draw, trophy taker drop away, Easton ACC's 3-71 30" long w blazers.

One thing that I found while doing this is that if you think that u did not move the rest enough, u prob moved it to much.

I was moving to much each time and it was like I was going past the sweet spot so to speak. A very slight movement will make a difference.

ALso try moving the rest the same amount to the opposite way, couldnt hurt.

It took me a few days to get it dialed in, but you'll get there. Make sure that u r using good form too, same grip, anchor etc, or u will be chasing ur tail.

How far r u doing this at. I start at 20yard and then my max hunting distance of 35yards.

Hope this helps some,

Assuming u are using a release u need to "chase" the BH with the FP's, so move ur rest very slightly towards the direction of the BH. Doesnt make sense when u think about it but it works. Also check for fletching contact.

What brand of bow are you shooting if I may ask. 8" to the left is a lot.
A bow I used to shoot a few years back would shoot my broadheads about an inch to the left. That's just the way it was with this bow. I just moved my sights to the left a smidgen and head to the deer woods. But 8 inches, that's not good.

What brand of bow and what brand of broadheads are you shooting?

I wonder if the spine is not stiff enough. I had a very similar problem and backed my DW down by about 5 lbs and got much better results. But also I agree make very small movements of the rest at a time.

shafts seem ok

I looked around and his arrow shaft would be OK based on using a 125 Gr. broadhead (he didnt say so I guessed). I know that when I had this problem, I am right handed, and I discovered that
1) My bow was slightly out of tune (biggest problem)

2)but also saw that arrows hitting off to the right could be the spine was weak. Since he is left handed, would that mean his spine could be too stiff?

I played around with it for about three hours today, and I managed to close the gap, I am hitting 2-3" every time to the right, what I dont get I hit the same distance to the right from 20 to 60 yards wouldn't change at longer distances?
I have moved my rest as far towards the broadheads as it will go.

I was wandering if I could move the rest toward my feild points slightly to even it up?

I am using 100 grain slick tricks.

What else could I do with my bow to get my bh's to fly.

Is your bow an 05? If so, it required sights/rests with extended adjustment. Also, if it is an 05, you might search out the threads on the proper position of the cable slide. A number of folks have reported finding succes in tuning/broadhead tuning my switing how the cables go through the slide which sometimes requires flipping the slide or removing a cable.

I think he may be overspined, but not underspined. I shot the 3-71's shooting 82 lbs and they were perfect. I say if all else fails, get it as close as you can keeping your center shot perfect and just move the sight a little when you head for the woods. As long as you can group your BH's...

Ive tried muzzy's they fly the same as my st's, and thunder heads fly even worse.

I tried 125 grain heads and that just made my bh's fly farther to the right.
