I just purchased some new arrows and want to build them myself. I only have the inserts to do and they are done. I am shooting the G5 Strykers. Do I need to glue the inserts in so that the broadhead blades line up with the fletching. I have helical fletching. Thanks for any input.

Nope...just make sure the broadhead spins true on the arrow.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll start glueing. I have 2 part epoxy. I was told to cover the insert and just wipe off the excess. Any input on that? Thanks again.

Be sure to spin the insert when you insert it to evenly distribute the epoxy. 2 part epoxy is good to use if you have an arrow spinner. You can install the insert and broadhead and spin the arrow to be sure it spins true before the epoxy sets.

Straight is critical, but alignment with the feathers is not.

I am willing to buy 29" 5575 GT XT's > 29" that don't line up though
