I'm shooting Muzzy 3 blade, 125 Grain. They seem to be hitting 6 inches left of my field points at 30 yards. Any ideas?

easton's tuning guide.....................FWIW you haven't supplied enough info. Do a search and you'll find enough answers to keep you busy for a couple of days.

You definately need to paper tune the field points...My bet is you are getting fletching contact that is being exaggerated by the b-heads...

I believe it wouldn't.

if you move your bocking point for broadheads wont it make the feildpoints shoot different to?
As long as you are moving the in 1/32" adjustments it should not mess up the field points impact too much if any. I believe the broad heads exagerate the mis-alingment and field points don't. So moving the nock a just a touch can make broadheads shoot alot better and field tip group might not move at all.

Also, once you get your broadheads hitting with your field points you will most likely need to resight in.

A lot of people say just resight in for your broadheads but that's wrong. Those arrows should fly right with your field point arrows, that way you know your arrow is flying true and straight.

Muzzy broadhead tunning

I had the same problem before using the 100g 3 blades Muzzy. I bought a G5 ASD and some good quality Black Max Elite arrows on the weekend. Now, I am shooting 4 - 5 inch group at 50 meters all day long with the Muzzy broadhead. If your bow is 100% tunned, then I would looking into getting some good arrows and make sure they are square on each end. I had 3-4 arrows out of 12 arrows are not perfectly square. I run them through the G5 ASD and they are all perfect now. It is a good equipment to have.

One issue that has come up is I noticed a slight amount of wear on the bottom bristles of my Whisker Biscuit. My pro shop guy said it looked like nock travel, but hinted that it couldn't be fixed. I have a PSE Dakota, 2004 vintage.

You may also want to check the Bow Tuning Forum and post the same question there. I'm sure this has probably been discussed in great detail there...

There is a user there that makes a DVD for tuning your bow and getting the best performance, LeEarl is the username... here is a link to the thread for his DVD. Its a good DVD.

For those still checking, this was three problems: my whisker biscuit was out of line (bristle wear), excessive hand shock (torque), new rest moved 1/16" to the right. I think the problem is solved.
