New to archery talk and would love to pick your brains about my bow.
I have a browning maxim 6T6L custom
That dates anywhere between late 80s mid 90s.
It seems to have a one off anodized billet riser in blue camo.

It is unlike any maxim that I have come across and so ....I turn to you.
Any help/information I can glean would be most appreciated.
TIA... Tony.

I had a late 80's Browning and it had a wooden riser and I believe most Brownings of that time did. Your bow is probably mid 90's.

Thanks...I did wonder.
But trying to research this bow is quite hard as there is almost no info on the 6T6L out there.

I had an old Brownng Safari as well as Excelarator and both were wood riser bows. Late 80s, early 90s bow.

Nice looking bow. If the limb pockets are molded polymer, I would tell you to be careful. I had an early 90's Browning Xcellerator 3 and the limb pockets just crumbled one day while at full draw.

Thought it was a mirage when I very first saw it. Brought it home and cleaned it up and saw the model/serial number and was very pleasantly surprised.
And it's got the ballistic cams.
Win win.

Limb pocket/riser...all one piece billet.
Crumbling at full draw....not something anyone would want to experience. 💯😮
