I realized I didn't have a wood working project for this summer and I had to come up with something. I just came upon the wonderful idea of making a riser for a TD recurve. I didn't want to go all-out making a recurve or longbow just yet, due to inexperience. I also figured just making a riser would be easier, and safer  .

I was wondering if anyone on here could point me in the right direction for making this riser. I've researched some bow building but I haven't found anything outlining exactly what I'm looking to do.

I have access to a well equipped wood working shop, and I am fairly competent at using the tools.

Finally, I was thinking I would use Samick limbs for this, but any other suggestions would be readily listened to.
