Here are my answers to the FAQ that I received since posting this:

- The rangefinder has no scratches on the optics or the body, it has never been dropped, everything works, including the ARC angle compensator.
- I have taken the picture above through the rangefinder. The bottom display line is the angle compensator in action: it says the target is 5 degrees higher than my eye and I should shoot for 28 m (horizontal distance) instead of the ranged 29 m line-of-sight distance. It can display in yards as well, of course.
- it's very light, fits perfectly in your palm and is very easy to operate single-handedly.
- I shoot relatively slow and heavy arrows and accurate ranging is important. This rangefinder has brought down deer.
- the battery is fresh
- I'm selling it because I bought a new Bushnell G-Force.
