I got a friend who has a great hunting preserve that will make sure you have a good time and his rates are really cheap! His place is in Pound Wisconsin and it is a high fence hunt but he does do unfenced whitetail and bear hunts also. His place is no cakewalk to kill animals though, mostly 200 acres of wooded area with about 50 acres in the middle of unaccessable cedar swamp you wouldn't dare crawl in! He has a website so google butler rock ranch and you'll find it. Randy is a funny guy and he has top notch accomidations, so if you contact him make sure you mention you seen this thread here and that Troy of Blind Hunters Supply posted it so he knows how you found out about him (PS- he wheels and deals on his website prices especially after X-mas time)! PM me if you would like more info also.

I was up there yesterday checking the place out, i was very impressed with his facilities and the animals especially since i know his prices! The cabin and property is amazing and just to spend a weekend there and not even hunt, just snowmobile or four wheeling would be amazing which he does rent the place out for those activities when he doesn't have hunters there. He easily has a multi-million dollar set up to make your hunt amazing for you, and for your wife and kids if they want to come along also! I had to laugh, i was in one of his hunting "houses" in the sky (heated of course) and it even had a deer mount in it lol. If you love to see huge animals (he had a whitetail that i thought was his red stag it was so big- over 300'' i guess) and beatiful scenery (everything is obviously snow covered right now) in the middle of a huge woods with nothing around but nature and monster animals you might want to check this place out. Randy's been in business for 8 years now and he's got it set up top notch with guys lined up to make everything easy for you with a butcher nearby that has your meat cut and wrapped the next day for you to a top notch taxidermist that puts your mounts in front of others so you get them faster! Randy has bull elks that range from about $2500 for a 280ish class to $9000 for a 420 class right now, hard to beat those prices and get put up in executive type facilities. I think his 350ish red stag is $6000 right now, that is a awesome animal too. I will tell you first hand the terrain is very hilly so if you think your going to stalk a whitetail in there, it's not going to happen Randy said especially with a bow!

I forgot to mention, anyone interested in going and doesn't want to go by themselves, shoot me a pm, i'll be doing a elk hunt there in a few weeks and i wouldn't mind if a fellow AT'er was to come along as we could do a hunt together. Oh and there is plenty of other things to do there also, he has you come for 3 days and nights with all meals and stuff included, and there is a casino nearby for those who like to gamble. FYI, if your interested in whitetail you would have to go soon as he already had a few bucks start dropping horns- elk are good till mid march.
